May 2020 be lled with God’s love, prosperity and great health! Once again the choir celebrated in style with their holiday party host- ed by Kathy Meck. We ate, drank, played games and we were merry! A huge thank you to all who helped make the Christmas Concert a huge success. ank you to the adult choir for participating and bringing the spirit of the season into our hearts. If you did not attend, well then you truly missed out. is past December, our Metropo- lis Church Music Ministry handed out two awards to two of our church musicians. ey were nominated by their director, Kathy Meck. Patricia Spire was awarded the George N George Music Award for all her dedication and devotion to our choir. Ana Constantine , a youth choir member, was also nominated by Kathy Meck for the Kathy Trapp Music Award. She was given this honor as well. Congratulations to both of them. Our new organist Rick Parks is com- ing along nicely. We are so happy to have him with us and he is already becoming part of the family! Happy January!
