As we enter into a new year, I pray that you all remain healthy, and nd comfort knowing there is hope ahead. I truly miss my St. Spyridon family. ank you again for your overwhelming gen- erosity towards our only fundraiser “A Taste of Greek Christmas” . As you can imagine, it has been di cult thinking of ways to connect with the community, and this drive-through bake sale was a perfect way even though it was a quick hello. I would also like to thank our generous donors: Art & Gina Balourdas, Dr. Greg & Karen Balourdas, Tasos & Julie Karagianides, Kosta & Christina Marantos, Dr. Michael & Renee Maude, Kosta & Vicky Mellos, Bill Navrides, Ted & So a Samouris and Nektarios & Christine Tradas. So many ladies and gentlemen volunteered their time to make this event so successful and we can- not thank them enough! Our traditional Angels Christmas Party , this year co-hosted with the SF Metropolis and Jeannie Ranglas, bene tting our Kids ‘N’ Cancer families was held on December 14th on Zoom. It was absolutely perfect. Ev- ery child, including the siblings, received a stocking lled with a $25 Target gi card, an ornament activity, lots of Christmas candy and stocking stu ers plus a family gi too. I would like to thank Father Andrew, who o ered the “Reason for the season”, Kathy Meck, who beautifully led us with Christ- mas carols, a surprise visit from Santa (our own Paul Kaitson who gracefully handled some fun questions from the kiddos), and we closed with George Terris, George Sa- ridakis and Giorgia Nicolaou (our three cancer survivors) each o ering their words of inspiration.
