I am beyond proud of our children. ey were so loved that His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of Amer- ica and His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos gave them a standing ovation and they came to greet the children a er they performed. e young adult choir, Livani came in 4th for division I. ey really per- formed beautifully and worked so hard. As always, the children are number one for me no matter what place- ment they receive in a competition. ey showed great sportsmanship and teamwork. ey were cordial, loving and respectful to other groups from our Metropolis. Everyone would be so proud of our dancers. Truly magni cent perfor- mances by all our groups. e Aege- ans won the costume award for their costumes that represented Paros. Mrs. Nicky Dougenis was the cre- ative seamstress for those costumes. Γειά στα χέρια της! Amazing weekend at FDF, fellow- ship, friendships rekindled, and lots of love in the air.
