Our Mem- bership Co-Chairs Kelly Samouris and Mel- anie Anastopulos dedicated so much of their time to make this a lovely a ernoon, and I am con dent those who attended would agree with me. Two wonderful vendors gave us an opportunity to enjoy some shopping and our guest speaker Conni Jespersen, who is a personal stylist, personal shopper and closet organizer, shared her valuable tips with us. ank you to our own Chef Kath- erine Emmenegger for preparing a delicious meal and to all our volunteers and donors who made this event such a success. We are at 129 members and our goal is to reach 200 members. I am hoping we have as many, if not more, renewals and new faces including more men and teenagers to join us on our mission to serve the needy! On February 11, our Philoptochos, once again, hosted our Seniors Valentine’s Lun- cheon prepared by our Co-Chairs Vicky Mellos and Jenny Capetanakis . ank you ladies and thank you to all the volunteers for always supporting our amazing Seniors year a er year. We hope you were able to attend our Hu- man Tra cking Forum on February 29. Our dedicated committee Maria Stokes, Harriet Kounaves, Stella Pappas, Christine Tradas, Gina Balourdas, Christina Vassos, and So- a Samouris have put many hours to make sure we all walked away more knowledgeable and aware of this crisis taking place right in our own backyard. ank you to the families and ministries that o er the co ee hour every week. If you have been thinking about o ering for a cel- ebration, name day, memorial, etc., I assure you, its very simple. Icon Decorations A.H.E.P.A. 2020 elections for our local chapter were held at our February meeting. We would like to welcome Dr. John Frangos as our newly (unanimously) elected Secretary. We will be serving sou- vlaki with tzatziki, salad, pita, beverages, & hotdogs for the kids! - Bring a lawn chair, frisbee, and your tavli board. We’ll take care of the rest! - is event is FREE for all members of the St. Spyridon Community.
