May our path through Great and Holy Lent prepare us for the awesome Resurrection of Christ! The choir wishes to wish a very happy birthday to our George B., Pat, Evangelia, Greg, John S., and Presvytera Jeannie! May God continue to grant you many more years of good health and love. Our youth choir has been working hard not only in rehearsals but also in Divine Liturgy. We sure hope you can hear their angelic voices each week. They will surprise you soon singing for an entire Divine Liturgy on their own without the adults. Coming soon your way!!! May your journey through Great and Holy Lent be a blessed one. Our first is from Anthea Diem , a lifelong member of the church. I was born and raised in the St. Spyridon Church community and am very grateful for my mom being so dedicated to bringing my sister and I to church every Sunday when we were little kids. It has guided me to feel a part of something that is good, that is inclusive, that is loving and that seeks to serve. It has supported my sense of family, faith, culture and tradition. I believe that if people find value in something they are likely contribute to it with their time, talent and treasure. My stewardship contribution is a token of giving back to the community for its enormous value it provides to its parishioners and those in need. Stewardship is a cornerstone in this community; there is a place for everyone, and the Saint Spyridon community is strong today because of the dedication and support from everyone who contributes to it.
