Nektarios Tradas invited one our former priests, Father John Kariotakis , to perform on bouzouki with Nektarios on keyboard, surprising the crowd of 75 seniors. Many in attendance were moved to get up and dance and most sang along as the two men entertained us. We have many to thank for last month’s program including our two talent- ed musicians. We also thank the Ladies of Philoptochos who sponsored the delicious pasta lunch prepared by our devoted kitchen team and to Joanne Stathorakis who donated the table gifts. Be sure to attend our fellowship on Tuesday, March 10, when we’ll feature chanter Michael Bertram , who will speak about his 2025 pilgrimage to Mt. Athos. Please spread the word that this program is open to all St. Spyridon parishioners. It’s most important you call Cynthia Samarkos (619-582-4109) by March 6, so we can prepare enough lunch for all. And don’t forget to mark down Saturday, March 28 , for Li’l Abner, an origi- nal musical comedy performed at the Peter Pan Jr. Theatre in La Mesa. Please contact Connie Pappas (484-553-8791) by March 21 to reserve and pay for a $10 ticket. YOUNG AT HEART SENIORS
