9 THE SHEPHERD • MARCH 2026 • SAINT SPYRIDON GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH OF SAN DIEGO AN AMAZING STEWARDSHIP EFFORT The Stewardship Committee would like to thank all of you for your faithful and dili- gent stewardship effort in 2025. Not only did we meet our goal of $502,200.00 for annual stewardship but exceeded it by an additional $37,481.00. Glory to God! What an amazing achievement! We continue to see so many of our parishioners and their families increas- ing their annual giving and that is a telling reflection of our commitment to Christ, our faith and our parish. Stewardship continues to grow as a priority within our community, and we will continue that growth in 2026. So far, many of you have sent in your 2026 pledge cards in an effort not only to financial- ly support the many services and activities that we are fortunate enough to enjoy, but to also get personally involved with one or more of our many church ministries. The response so far has been very positive, and we thank all of you who continue to give of yourselves to make our ministries come to life. May we al- ways affirm our commitment to not only the present, but to the future of our parish and the generations that will follow us. If you have not already done so, please send in your 2026 pledge card to communicate your commitment to our church and the commu- nity that it serves. May we all let our actions be our voice as we continue to proclaim the Gospel of Christ as a community.
