BIRTHS Dear Friends of the Choir, April showers bring May flowers, and with the arrival of spring we also enter one of the most sacred and beautiful times in the life of our Church. Our choir has been working very hard preparing the hymns and ser- vices for Great and Holy Week and Pascha. We thank each of our choir members for their dedication and commitment during this busy and meaningful season. If you see them, please take a moment to thank them for the many hours they devote to helping make our worship so beau- tiful. We especially invite you to join us during Great and Holy Tuesday eve- ning, when the choir prepares and chants the Troparion of Kassiani, one of the most beautiful and mov- ing hymns of Great and Holy Week. Please come and listen as we reflect on this powerful hymn of repentance and devotion. During Great and Holy Week, we also invite you to sing along with us during the Lamentations on Great and Holy Friday evening. It is al- ways a powerful and moving mo- ment when the entire congregation joins together in prayer and song as we gather around the Kouvouklion (Tomb) and remember Christ’s sac- rifice. As we approach the celebration of the Resurrection, we wish every- one a blessed Pascha. Kalí Anástasi! Wishing you all a joyful and blessed Resurrection.
