For the third year, we sold lunches to help raise funds for our program. We sold over 170 meals of either ham or lamb with all the fixings and received many thanks and rave reviews. A million thanks to the hardworking volunteers who made this event possible, including our wonderful chef, Paschalis Koutzmbis . Practices for all age groups resumed on Sunday April 27, at the regular- ly scheduled times. Our next big event is our annual church festival. We are looking forward to performing for the thousands of visitors who come to our church every year. As in years past, we open our practices up beyond our reg- ular members so others can join us on stage at the festival. If you are interested in dancing with any of our groups for the festival, from 5 to young adult, please reach out to stspyridondance@gmail.com for practice days and times. Don’t wait because our runway is short, only a few weeks remain until the festival! Our school year officially closes after the festival on June 15th. It’s not too early to start thinking about next year. If you are interested in joining the Greek Dance and Choral School next year in any way, now is the time to reach out. What did we have in mind? We could use folks to join our Board, help with costumes, teach or direct groups, chair fundraisers, you name it. If you have time (even just a little) and the desire, we would love to have you join us. Ask any of our members, it is fun, fulfilling, and a fruitful endeavor to give back to the church and the youth in this way.
