A glimmer of hope is beginning to appear in the ght against the COVID-19 virus and we are preparing for the potential reopening of our Sanctuary. As we do so, it is incumbent on us to prepare for our safe return by complying with local, state and federal guidelines. We are developing a plan to open the Sanctuary while being vigilant to comply with the regulations and protect the safety of our parishioners. Initially, occupancy is likely going to be severely restricted either as the result of occupancy limits or compliance with the social distancing requirements. We anticipate only 30-35 persons being allowed to attend a service once the County allows indoor church services to resume. We are developing protocols to ensure that all of you who want to attend will be given an opportunity over time to attend. As restrictions are lessened, we will expand the number who can attend. e transition back to a fully opened Sanctuary will take time, and there may be challenges along the way. It will not happen overnight, so we ask for your ongoing patience and understanding. We must continue to persevere with faith, knowing that “with God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).
