If you have already signed up, thank you so much! If you haven’t yet signed up to volunteer, please consider at least ONE shift. This will make a huge difference! We need people in Pastries, Gyros, Kids’ Zone, Souvlaki, and Cleanup. Also, we need evening volunteers from 5 PM to closing on both days. Our Greek Festival Planning Committee has been working tire- lessly to prepare for our upcoming Greek Festival. So many continue to show their en- thusiastic support and it is clear that we are ready to once again welcome the San Diego community into our home to share our faith, our traditions, and our hospitality. e dates for our Greek Festival are June 18th- 19th and we still have much to do to make our event a great success. I must share that even with the support we have received to date, we still have nearly 300 un lled volunteer slots in Signup Genius (Yes, I said 300). is is a signi cant shortfall compared to previous years and if we don’t see a notable increase in signups soon, the success of our festival may be in jeopardy. Our success is 100% dependent on volunteer turnout so please sign up now! We would like to thank all of you who have already come forth in generosity and com- mitted as Booth Chairs, Booth Sponsors and Volunteers. Please get the word out to every- one to sign up for at least one or two shi s in support of our festival. Recently we mailed you seven random- numbered opportunity drawing tickets. Have you received them? Here are some of the things you can do: Buy the enclosed tickets for yourself! Sell them to your friends! Sell them to your neighbors! Sell them to your co-workers! Offer them as personal or business gifts! Get more! Please fill out the stubs from the tickets you buy or sell and return them with your check to the Church office before the Festival. You may also bring the stubs and your payment to the Opportunity Drawing booth during the festival.
