GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth Association) GOYA hosted its Third Edition of the Great GOYA Bake-Off Competition in May - Cookie Edition! This was the Cookie Epi- sode! 18 GOYAns took over the St. Spyridon kitchen and created confectionery delights! This is a favorite activity for our youth group! The competition was tough and our Judges enjoyed each one of the seven desserts they tasted, but Ch istos Galione, Kosta Mellos, and James Dennis edged out the competi- tion and won the Golden Spatula of GOYA! If your middle or high school student is not in- volved in GOYA, we would love to have them join us! We have such a great group of teens eager to welcome new teens into our Youth Group! We hope all GOYA families will join us for the End of the Year Beach Bonfire at South Mission Beach on June 6th from 4pm- 9pm.
