You will be in- formed once guidelines and plans of our re- opening are established. ese have been di cult times for all of us. As we look back through history, we Greeks and Orthodox Christians have endured tough times whether it be famine, pandem- ics, war, or religious persecution. We perse- vered in the face of adversity. It has been our undying faith that has kept us united and our collective hope that gave us victory over our many challenges. Let us be like those brave Hellenes before us. With the Grace and Love of God, we too will get to the other side. “Faith will strengthen us, Hope will upli us and Love will complete us.” Looking forward to seeing you all soon! We hope and pray that they adhere to the Hellenistic ideas of philanthropy, the un- yielding pursuit of truth, and the impor- tance of family throughout their passage into adulthood and beyond. Congratulations to all! Costas Kotinopoulos President, AHEPA Chapter #223 So much has changed since our return from FDF in February. Shortly a er our lives were all shaken with COVID-19 and our Dance & Choral program, as with many other things, came to a screeching halt. Some of you may have costumes to return from FDF. Please hold onto any costumes until we have more direction from the Metropolitan in terms of when we can resume programs at church. On a positive note, we have good news to report about our program. We would like to o cially welcome Kelly Samouris to the Dance & Choral board as our Costume Li- brarian. Kelly has worked very hard already to organize and inventory the costume room, and made serious headway in a very positive direction. Welcome Kelly! As we head into summer, we are looking ahead to our upcoming Dance &Choral year. Even though we of course do not know what the future will hold in terms of the course of this pandemic, we are making plans to re- sume sometime in the early fall. We have the executive board position of Trea- surer available. We thank Christina Frangos for all of her hard work and dedication to our program as Treasurer. Christina will provide all necessary information and documents to our new Treasurer, and will mentor the new Treasurer to ensure the transition is smooth and seamless. If you have any interest in serving on our board as Treasurer, please reach out to Renee Maude at andrianarenee@icloud.com by July 10, 2020. We hope you and your families are able to have a somewhat normal summer, and that you all stay safe and healthy until we are able to meet and fellowship again in person. e Dance & Choral Board GREEK DANCE & CHORAL I would like to join our Saint Spyridon community in wishing our beloved Vicky Ragousis a happy retirement!
