It was nice to see so many graduating Seniors at Church on Sunday, June 6th to receive a blessing and best wishes from your Saint Spyridon parish family. Seniors we will miss you in GOYA and hope you are able to get into the rejuvenated Young Adult League (YAL) and maybe even attend their conference over La- bor Day in Phoenix. Whatever your plans are for the future we wish you God’s continued blessings and please stay in touch! We had such a great time at our sum- mer GOYA beach party on June 19th, and it was amazing seeing everybody again a er these crazy months. We hope to see you all again at our next GOYA event, and for the families that have not returned just yet we hope to see you soon. We will keep in touch about events coming up in August and most de nitely Saturday, September 25th, so please be on the lookout for an email, August article in the Shepherd and information in the weekly bulletin. Board elections for the 2021-2022 GOYA will be done in the fall at one of these up- coming events. If you are going into the 7th grade in the Fall you are GOYA age. PLEASE send Mr. Bill your information at navridesfamily@gmail.com (this includes your name, parents name, address, your email and your parents email, birthday, and school year) and he will add you to the GOYA mailing list. We are always looking for new GOYA members to join us! At the beach party last month, we talked about getting together with other Southern California GOYAns and there are now conversations with the GOYA Directors from the SoCal Churches to get our teenagers together. More information to come soon. Please remember that this year the Dormition of the Holy eotokos will take place on SUNDAY, August 15th. We would love to see all our GOYA families worshipping togeth- er on this Blessed day. Wishing you all a wonderful, safe and healthy summer.
