During the visit, a new cohort of 8 newmem- bers was officially initiated into the chapter, highlighting the organization’s commitment to growth and community engagement. The Supreme President emphasized the impor- tance of unity and support within the orga- nization, encouraging new members to ac- tively participate in the enriching activities that AHEPA offers. In addition to the initiation ceremony, the event honored long-standing member Dino Gougoulas with the prestigious AHEPA Heroes Award. This recognition celebrates Gougoulas’ unwavering dedication and con- tributions to the chapter and the wider com- munity. His efforts have inspired many, and the award serves as a testament to his com- mitment to the values of AHEPA. These scholarships are part of AHEPA’s ongoing initiative to support education and empower the next generation of leaders within the Hellenic community. The event concluded with a reception, where members had the opportunity to connect, share stories, and look forward to the future of AHEPA Chapter 223. The visit from the Supreme President and the achievements celebrated underscore the vital role that AHEPA continues to play in fostering a strong, supportive community for Hellenic individuals and families.
