Because of your generosity and positive response our 2022 stewardship e orts continue to grow and to bear good fruit. However, for many and varied reasons meeting the parish’s operational expenses throughout the summer months has always been a challenge, but as a community we have been getting better. You can do your part by continuing to ful ll your 2022 pledged stewardship amount throughout the sum- mer months . erefore, as you made your 2022 stewardship pledge at the beginning of the year, the Stewardship Com- mittee of the parish is encouraging you to continue to ful- ll that pledged amount on a weekly and/or monthly basis throughout the summer months. Enjoy your summer, be safe and keep praying, making the Divine Liturgy and everything that ows from it a priority in your life. e book is constructed in three main parts to facilitate many ap- proaches to its reading. One might study each of the three main sections one at a time, or may read its small- er almost self-contained chapters to allow the enormity of Christ’s sacri- ce to be borne without emotionally overwhelming the reader. It may be read devotionally over a period of time such as Great and Holy Lent to great e ect. Additionally, it can also lend itself to a powerfully immersive experience through the course of Holy Week. e Cruci xion of the King of Glory should hold a place of importance in the comprehensive library of those who wish to understand the place of this pivotal event in the history of the world, and indeed, the cosmos. One can only look forward to an equal tour de force covering the life-giving Resurrection of the King.
