We hope you have been able to enjoy your summer despite these extraordinary circum- stances. We are excited to share some details with you. is fall, St. Spyridon Greek Lan- guage school will resume classes online, via Zoom only. It will begin October 1, 2020 for adults and October 2 for children. As we look forward to beginning our school year in October, it is necessary for each stu- dent to register online for distance learning as soon as possible. Completing the enroll- ment process ahead of time, will allow us time to prepare for the new school year and ensure that each student is enrolled in the program that best meets his/her needs. We will create classes and assign students and teachers based on enrollment. Students who have registered and paid for Spring 2020 will be enrolled at no additional cost for Fall of 2020. If these students wish to wait for the Spring semester to enroll, tuition will be adjusted. New students can enroll for the Fall semester at a reduced tuition. Although the local public health order cur- rently mandates that schools in San Diego County begin the year via virtual learning, we know the importance of getting our stu- dents back to school. We will continue to plan and prepare for safely reopening our school so that we can begin in-person, at school instruction, as soon as it is permitted. We are always committed to providing an outstanding educational experience for our students. ank you for your understanding and patience as we proceed with preparations for an Online Learning Program. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FOR FALL CLASSES: Adult Greek Classes: Oct. 1 - Jan. 16 • Beginner A ( rst semester Beginners) Saturday 10:30 am–12:00 pm • Beginner B (second semester Beginners) ursday 6:30 – 8:00 pm • Intermediate I-B (second semester Intermediate I) Friday 4:30 – 6:30 pm Children Greek Classes: Oct. 2 - Jan. 15 • Children classes of all levels will run only on Fridays between 4 pm and 6 pm • Lower grades will last approximately 60 minutes including 15 minutes of Music • Upper grades will last approximately 90 minutes including 15 minutes of Music Adult Tuition for New Students Prorated tuition for Fall semester 2020 is $209.
