The National Forum of Greek Or- thodox Church Musicians will cele- brate National Church Music Sun- day on October 1, 2023 . This annual celebration occurs the first Sunday after the observance of the feast day of St. Romanos, the Patron Saint of the National Forum and church mu- sicians, which also falls on October 1st. The Greek Orthodox Archdio- cese of America sets this day aside each year to recognize and honor all of its church musicians. Please take a moment to thank your choir mem- bers, chanters, youth choir, Deacon Michael, and Fr. Andrew for their love of music and our faith. In honor of Church Music Sunday, our Youth Choir will be singing the Divine Liturgy on Oct. 1st. You don’t want to miss it! If you had the oppor- tunity to hear them back in May, you know how special this will be. If you attended My Big Fat Greek Glendi last month, you know what a wonderful time we had. Lots of hard work was put into this fundraiser for the Dance and Choral School. We thank everyone who put in their time to make this event a success. If you did not get a chance to attend, we hope you can make the next one. October is a busy month for birthday celebrations.
