So here are the St. Spyridon Greek Dance and Choral School highlights: • We had our first Dance Board and Directors meeting on September 14th and discussed many of our upcoming events and fundraisers, including the suites of dances and choral music we would be perform- ing at FDF in 2027. We were very excited to welcome our new Cos- tume Librarians to the leadership team, Maria Capetanakis and An- astasia Polles! • An information session on FDF was hosted by the Greek Dance Board on 9/20 and 9/27. • Our first performance of the fall will be held at the Brookview Re- tirement Community on Saturday, October 17th. • We can’t wait for the upcoming Hellenic Fairways Golf Tourna- ment on October 30th (is it too much to ask if we can play golf in our Halloween costumes?) and are honored that the tournament has chosen to donate their net proceeds to our program! Please sign up and support this wonderful event (and great cause!) • Our adult group Parea had their first practice on 9/20. Nearly 30 people showed up! • The Adult Beginner Dance class (back by popular demand) started meeting weekly on Thursdays from 9/17 to 10/22. • Registration and tuition for dance and choral is due by 10/1.
