With Love in Christ, + e Women of the Word Bible Study Group Contact: susanmiserlis@gmail.com Yes, things are still much di erent than they were eight months ago, but that is the reality of where we still are for now. It reminds us that our lives are always subject to change and that the “boat” can become rocky at times. But, we are also reminded that it is Christ in the boat with us and to whom we are to stay focused upon whether the Sanctuary is open or temporarily “closed.” So, what does the next two, four, six months look like? No one really “knows” for sure but we can as- sume that not much will change until a viable vaccine is nally ready to be distributed to the masses and/or viable therapeutics are created to help reduce the su ering of those infected. We hope and pray that our Sanctuary remains “open” so that “in-person” prayer and worship can still be o ered. It is partially if not mostly up to ALL of us. How we/you navigate the next several months can/will dictate as to how far we move forward as a faith community, and as good neighbors looking out and caring for each other to “protect” our ocks. Following and practicing the best advice from the scienti c and medical communities is important as is “continual prayer and worship” either inside (preferably) or outside of the Sanctuary. As we near the end of the calendar year there is one more important thing you can do – for those who can, do continue to nancially support your parish, and trust and encourage the lay leadership for they join me in - …keeping watch over your souls, as men who will have to give account. Let them do this joyfully, and not sadly, for that would be no advantage to you (Hebrews 13:17). God’s continued blessing, +A 1 FR. ANDREW
