If you did, we hope you can submit your best photo from your vacation to enter next month’s contest. The photo can be from anywhere in the world, but must have been taken by yourself, during your vacation this summer . No older photos or third party photos will be accepted. Winner will receive a 24x18 print of their photo. A panel of judges with experience in photography and art will pick the winning entry, shown to them anonymously. The judging criteria will be: Composition, lighting, technique, artistic value, and the photo’s ability to convey a background story without words. Please email your submissions to info@theshepherdnews.com along with your name and the location where the photo was taken and when, no later than September 15.
